Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance

Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance

     1. System Testing: Validation of Performance

Before any system goes "live," we conduct rigorous, multi-layered testing to ensure it meets international aviation standards (ICAO, FAA, EASA).

  • FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing): We verify system components at the point of manufacture to ensure they meet technical specifications before arriving at the airport.

  • SAT (Site Acceptance Testing): Once installed, we test the system in its actual environment, ensuring integration with existing airport power and data networks.

  • Load & Stress Testing: We simulate peak-hour traffic (e.g., maximum baggage volume or high-frequency runway lighting triggers) to ensure the system doesn't fail under pressure.

  • Interoperability Testing: Ensuring that new systems (like a new Docking Guidance System) communicate seamlessly with the Airport Operational Database (AODB).

    2. Commissioning: Transition to Operations
Commissioning is the bridge between construction and live operations. We ensure the "handover" is flawless and safe.

  • Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT): We lead the trials that prove the airport is ready for passengers, including "dry runs" of check-in, security, and boarding processes.

  • Certification Support: We provide the documented evidence and technical verification required by civil aviation authorities to grant the airport an Operating Certificate.

  • As-Built Documentation: We deliver comprehensive technical blueprints, software logic maps, and manuals that reflect the final, installed state of the system.

  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: We train airport staff and technicians on how to operate and troubleshoot the new systems effectively.

    3. Maintenance: Ensuring 24/7 Availability
Airport systems cannot afford downtime. Our maintenance strategy is built on Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).

     Preventive Maintenance (PM)

  • Scheduled inspections and "health checks" of critical infrastructure.

  • Example: Calibration of Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) and cleaning of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) to maintain visibility standards.

    Corrective & Reactive Maintenance

  • 24/7 Rapid Response: On-site technical teams ready to repair critical failures (e.g., a jammed baggage belt or a failed security scanner) within strictly defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Spare Parts Management: We manage the inventory of mission-critical components to ensure "Mean Time to Repair" (MTTR) is kept to a minimum.

     Predictive Maintenance (PdM)

  • IoT & Condition Monitoring: Using vibration sensors and thermal imaging on motors and conveyors to predict a failure before it happens.

  • Data Analytics: Analyzing system logs to identify patterns of wear and tear, allowing for mid-life overhauls during low-traffic windows.

     Why Choose Our TCM Services?

  • Zero-Downtime Philosophy: We perform maintenance during "curfew hours" or via redundant system bypasses to ensure passenger flow is never interrupted.

  • Safety Compliance: Every technician is trained in airside safety, "Foreign Object Debris" (FOD) prevention, and security protocols.

  • Asset Life Extension: Our proactive maintenance programs can extend the operational life of multi-million dollar assets by 20–30%.
